FREE educational event held at Central Livestock Sales Barn; Albany, MN from 2 to 4 pm. (just off of Interstate 94 west of St. Cloud at exit 147/Albany and go to 34412 County Road 10)
Members of the Minnesota Buffalo Association, led by their President Dale Rengstorf, will present diverse details, different features and "lessons learned" of raising and marketing magnificent bison.
The class is designed for those considering raising bison. Come learn and connect with those who will be passing forward the knowledge they have gained over their years of raising and marketing bison.
Host hotel: Baymont Inn and Suites: 320-845-2145. Make reservations early as the hotel fills quickly. Made by November 8th and mentioning MN Buffalo Association guests will enjoy the reduced rate of $65 + tax per room. Room rate includes continental breakfast.
Consigned animals will arrive; Bison Fundamentals, a free educational class, led by our president Dale Rengstorf, will begin at 2pm
The auction begins at 10am sharp. Called by Bradeen Auctions. The breeding stock judged show consignments will be sold first followed by the non-judged consignments.
Consign and deliver 5 or more animals and receive one free banquet ticket. Consign and deliver 10 or more animals and choose between two free banquet tickets or MnBA paying for your Friday evening stay, November 27th, at the host hotel.
This year’s educational conference will focus on Herd Health, techniques used by seasoned producers, a review on making sure you are taking advantage of qualified tax deductibles …and more!
Your host, Todd Brown, is planning a great weekend for all things bison. Another “not-to-be-missed” event of learning, great dining and camaraderie.
